James MacLeod, who lives in the Centennial Heights subdivision, said he attended the meeting to see if council has a plan to attract new business to the village.
“I think it’s time that New Maryland started to grow a little more as a business (area), not necessarily an industrial park, but a few more businesses out here,” MacLeod said.

Eager crowds await opening of craft fair

But he says he is now disillusioned with the man who tried to claim £1,645 for a duck house.
He has written to Tory leader David Cameron questioning why Sir Peter only has to pay back £10,000, despite claiming £30,000 for gardening expenses for his former Titchfield mansion. The claims included 28 tons of manure.
